Tristan Tyler Jackson will combine academic study with professional internship experience abroad. Tristan Tyler Jackson will spend the spring balancing coursework with professional responsibilities an ocean away from South Carolina State University, applying his studies in nuclear engineering to sustainability-focused work through a global internship experience in London.

Claudia Brooks-McCallum said she found a welcoming and fruitful learning environment when she enrolled in South Carolina State University’s Doctor of Educational Leadership program. A surgeon and South Carolina State University alumnus encouraged more than 200 graduates to put in the work needed to fulfill their goals and dreams Thursday during fall commencement exercises. SC State celebrates three graduates entering the teaching profession
