The Division of Enrollment Management is the gateway for students and their families to enroll at South Carolina State University. Joining the Bulldog family means enjoying the rich traditions of South Carolina’s only public Historically Black College or University.
The Enrollment Management team travels throughout South Carolina, surrounding states and key locations around the nation to provide information about the SC State Bulldog experience, the university’s academic offerings and scholarship opportunities. Enrolment Management also sponsors on-campus activities to inform prospective students about the university, including the annual Spring Open House.
The team works with high school guidance counselors, SC State alumni and other friends of the university to identify and recruit young scholars and transfer students to enter the Bulldog family.
The Enrollment Management Division also is charged with helping students and families navigate the financial necessities of college through federal aid, scholarships, loans and grants.
The Enrollment Management team is led by Dr. Manicia Finch, a veteran enrollment specialist known for her unbridled enthusiasm for SC State University.

The Office of Financial Aid
South Carolina State University has helped thousands of students get the skills and knowledge they need to find jobs and build rewarding careers. It can do the same for you, too.
To ensure that we're able to offer a high-quality education to as many students as possible, we're proud to offer a variety of financial aid options to help cover the cost of attendance.
Financial aid is awarded primarily on the basis of financial need. Tuition and fees are due and payable as part of your registration with SC State, so it's essential that you secure any needed aid before you register.
