The Center for Online and Distance Education (CODE) is an administrative unit within the Division of Academic Affairs. CODE provides administrative leadership for online and distance education, faculty development and continuing education. SC State University’s Blackboard Learning Management System is also administered under the direction of CODE.

Courses listed are offered totally online with on on-campus class meetings required. Students must be admitted to the University in order to register for online courses. Certain courses may require the completion of a proctored exam to confirm the identity of the student. Students are not charged a fee for a test proctored in the Assessment Center on campus. A fee maybe charged for tests that are proctored at locations other than the Assessment Center.
