Allie Harris-Beeks
Allie Harris-Beeks works with the SC State University Office of Communications, Marketing
and Strategic Alliances. As a communications specialist, she is responsible for completing
a range of tasks that help support the university. Harris-Beeks helps to uplift the
university's brand by informing the public of SC State's recent accomplishments, and
sharing the stories of students, faculty and staff-- bringing their positive experiences
at the university to life. She collaborates with internal stakeholders and connects
with local media to create and disseminate university news to the campus and local
communities.

Background
Harris-Beeks joined South Carolina State University in 2021. Before coming to the
university, she worked as a legal assistant at Harris & Associates, PLLC in Durham,
North Carolina. She also worked as an information & communications specialist the
N.C. Department of Public Safety in Raleigh, North Carolina.
