Amauri Allen
As a communications specialist, Amauri Allen promotes university programs and activities through all media platforms. He assists with writing and editing press releases, presentations, reports, photos, videos and other communications for release to media contacts. He conducts interviews, researches topics and gather information for use in various communications. He helps with event coordination and is a resource for the team during press conferences, official visits, and other happenings.

Background
Allen is from Greenville, South Carolina. He is a 2024 graduate of SC State, with a B.A. degree in broadcast communications. He started his career by interning at WIS TV in Columbia, South Carolina, as a news reporter, then furthered his career in public relations at SC State. During his undergraduate career, he covered many stories on campus for Bulldog News Now and WIS-TV. He interviewed U.S. Rep, James Clyburn, Movie actor Jason Weaver and others.
Allen is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. He has provided communities with excellent community service.
