Elizabeth Mosely-Hawkins

The senior director of strategic marketing and communications champions and increases the public support of SC State University Public Service and Agriculture’s efforts to key stakeholders, including: new and existing constituents and partners; policymakers and government agencies at the local, state and federal levels; philanthropic and corporate foundations; current and potential donors; organizations and businesses engaged in the food, fiber and forestry industries; and the general public. 

The senior director of strategic marketing and communications develops and communicates SC State PSA’s key messages to all targeted audiences and creates tools and resources that equip PSA staff to make the case for their work with current and new stakeholders.

Background

Elizabeth Mosely-Hawkins has over 20 years experience in marketing, strategic communications, crisis management, graphic design and event planning. While she has used her expertise in the insurance industry and city government, Mosely-Hawkins finds higher education most rewarding. She currently serves as senior director of marketing and communications for SC State University Public Service & Agriculture, which conducts problem-solving research and provides quality lifelong learning opportunities designed to help transform the lives of South Carolinians.

More About Elizabeth Mosely-Hawkins

Mosely-Hawkins is a 2010 graduate of Leadership Orangeburg and a 2014 graduate of Leadership South Carolina. She is a member of the 2024 cohort in the state of South Carolina's Certified Public Manager program. 

While she loves advancing in her career, nothing compares to the joy she experiences raising her bright, always active, pizza-loving, Sonic the Hedgehog super fan, 8-year old son.
