Erica Owens

Erica Owens serves as an administrative specialist at the university. Her role involves answering and directing phone calls, organizing and scheduling meetings and appointments, maintaining contact lists, screening and routing phone calls, producing and distributing various reports, greeting and assisting visitors, handling office tasks such as filing and generating reports and presentations, setting up for meetings, reordering supplies, transcribing minutes for meetings, creating presentations, and completing other tasks assigned by the supervisor.

• Claflin University (Graduated in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology)

Background

Owens joined SC State in 2023. Prior to joining the university, she worked at the Department of Social Services as a human services specialist I-eligibility worker for two years and as an eligibility case manager for one year and three months.
