Dr. James has been at SC State since 2012. Prior to coming to SC State, she was a primary teacher (2nd grade).

Education, charter schools, educational administration & leadership, higher education, k-12 education, Montessori education, multicultural education, social-emotional learning, “teacherpreneuers,” community partnerships, educational law, childhood care, remote learning/virtual education, and African American studies child development.
