Yes. If you are unable to attend the Garnet & Blue Extravaganza, you can still celebrate 130 years of excellence with a gift in support of student scholarships and university priorities that advance academic excellence, innovation, and student success. Your gift helps expand access and opportunity for the next generation of students
Yes. Seating for the Garnet & Blue Extravaganza is assigned.
- Sponsors & Premier VIP ticket holders receive preferred seating and may request to be seated together.
- Early Bird General Admission, General Admission, and Faculty & Staff tickets include standard assigned seating. Please note that standard seating cannot be guaranteed for guests wishing to sit together.
Event Details
All campus entry gates will open at 2 p.m.
Stadium entry gates will open at 5 p.m.
The VIP Reception & Blue Carpet Experience begins at 6 p.m., followed by the Extravaganza Program at 7 p.m.
Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking, shuttle transportation, and entry.

As the event will take place on the Willie Jeffries Field at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium, flat shoes or thicker heels are recommended for comfort while navigating the surface.
Yes. A hotel room block is available at the Fairfield Inn & Suites, the official host hotel, offering special Garnet & Blue rates of $99 plus tax on weekdays and $119 plus tax on weekends.

In the event of inclement weather, event updates will be communicated via email and posted on the official Garnet & Blue website. The university will determine any necessary changes to ensure guest safety.
Campus Entry & Parking
To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience for all guests, please review the campus access, entry, and parking guidelines below, including designated entry points, prior to arrival.
Campus Entry Gate:
Russell Street Gate (Gate 1)
VIP Only Parking Locations:
- Nix Parking Lot
- Felton Parking Lot
Parking attendants and signage will assist with directing vehicles to available spaces.
Campus Entry Gate Options:
- Magnolia/Geathers Gate (Gate 3)
- Buckley Street Gate (Gate 4)
- Chestnut/Wilkinson Gate (Gate 5)

- Smith-Hammond-Middleton (SMH)

On the day of the event (Saturday, April 18), all students should park at the following locations:
- Ko W.G. Donma Administration Building Lot
- Nance Hall Parking Lot
- Crawford-Zimmerman Parking Lot
Shuttle services will be available throughout the event to transport guests to and from the stadium from designated parking areas. Guests are encouraged to utilize shuttle services for convenience.
Buses may drop off guests at the stadium entrance. After drop-off, they will be directed to park at the Softball Field. At the conclusion of the event, buses will re-stage to support an orderly departure from campus.
All vendors, contractors, and event partners must adhere to the following:
- Enter campus through designated instructions provided in advance
- Credentials are required and must be visible at all times
- Follow all campus security, parking, and traffic directives
