The College of Agriculture, Family and Consumer Sciences is a regional center of scientific learning where we integrate the agricultural, environmental, and human sciences to provide a world-class education, research discoveries, and inspire pioneering solutions.
The College takes a multidisciplinary approach to teaching, research, and outreach and provides realistic solutions for problems faced in the 21st century. All of the programs of study in the CAFCS are geared towards meeting the changing needs of our communities.
The CAFCS mission is to be a leading institution of academic excellence and innovation that builds and supports knowledge by improving the quality of life for individuals, families, and communities with limited social and economic resources throughout the region.
