How We Help You
Our programs offer you a well-rounded liberal arts education, as well as hands-on learning opportunities and field experience. Through your coursework, you'll learn the foundations of psychology, and will become an expert in your field of study, gaining valuable skills in research, measurement, and human growth and development. Aside from your required courses, you'll have the opportunity to expand your knowledge through electives of your choosing.
In our Department of Human Services, you'll also discover shadowing and internship opportunities that allow you to observe and participate in practicums and community outreach in your field. Through your field placement or internship, you'll develop an in-depth understanding of how to apply theories and techniques in clinical settings. As a result of your training, you’ll be able to provide public and private schools with services like psychological assessment, in-service education, and board membership. With unique learning opportunities and experienced mentors to lean on, you'll be fully prepared to serve the diverse needs of clients in your community upon graduation!
