Experiential Learning

Our programs are designed to provide you with a solid academic foundation, as well as practicum experiences that will help you get ahead. With the help of highly-qualified instructors, you'll gain hands-on experience in a variety of professional settings. You'll put your skills to practice at the on-campus Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic, where you will serve students from the University and clients from the surrounding area. You'll work on screenings, evaluations, and interventions with clients of all ages. This unique experience prepares you to serve in spaces like public schools, hospitals, nursing homes, and private practices. As you continue your studies and practicum training, you will build the intuition and confidence to act on your feet and make quick decisions.
