South Carolina State University will hold its 2025 Spring Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. The ceremony will be streamed on the university's YouTube Channel.

Important Information for Graduating Seniors and Families

South Carolina State University will hold its 2025 Spring Commencement Ceremony on Friday, May 9, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center.

The ceremony will celebrate the achievements of the graduating seniors. Each candidate for graduate has been issued eight tickets for family and friends to attend.

Graduating students will receive official information from the University’s Registrar's Office and are encouraged to order their academic regalia from the University Bookstore as soon as possible to ensure availability.
