Struggling to keep up in a particular subject? SC State offers several support services to help you stay on track with your courses as you continue your studies at SC State. From accounting and economics to computer science to English and everything in between, we've got you covered with free one-on-one tutoring. The Student Success Center encourages SC State students to take advantage of Brainfuse, an online tutoring servce available 24 hours per day.

In addition to academic tutoring services, you'll also have access to resources like the PUSH Writing Center, which offers assistance in writing and research, the Center for Online and Distance Education, the Miller F. Whittaker Library, and many others!

Student Support Services (TRIO)

Student Support Services/TRIO offers support programs and services that empower you to excel in your courses and navigate finances, technology, and other roadblocks that may be keeping you from reaching your full potential. Our mission is to set you up for academic and personal success by providing you with quality services and programs that can help you achieve your goals.

With key resources like the Bulldog Career Center, TRIO Computer Lab, and financial aid assistance, our staff works closely with you to eliminate the obstacles between where you are, and where you want to be.

Eligible student participants are generally freshman and sophomore students who meet federal economic guidelines, first-generation college students, and/or students who meet guidelines for physical and learning disabilities.
